Life At Roy Kinnear House

It’s hard to describe life at Roy Kinnear House because it’s different for each person living there but some of activities which people participate it on a regular basis are:

• Swimming at the local pool in Teddington
• Cycling in Bushy Park
• Arts and Crafts in the Space Magic Room
• Wheelchair dancing and music at St Mary’s College
• Concerts and musicals in local theatres and trips to the cinema
• Visits to a special sensory room in Ham
• Music therapy

Of course the domestic routines of life take up quite a bit of time and we encourage everybody to get involved in cooking their own meals, doing the gardening, cleaning their rooms and generally participating in the life of the home.

Families and friends are welcome to visit as much as possible and we can support residents to spend time visiting their families and friends in their homes as well.
