Partnerships

Because of the complexity of people’s needs, we work in partnership with a whole range of local NHS and other specialists in the community and we see our relationship with them as critical to ensuring the best possible outcomes for people. We are in constant close touch with the local community learning disability team at the local Primary Care Trust, as well as the wheelchair and specialist seating services, physiotherapists, dieticians, epilepsy specialists, pharmacy etc. We have the support of a particularly dedicated GP who assists us also with ensuring that the relevant hospital services meet people’s needs.
