The House & Facilities

The house is located in Waldegrave Road, in the heart of Strawberry Hill which is a village-like suburb a short distance from Twickenham. It is on a bus route and people can access the facilities of Richmond, Twickenham and Kingston easily.

Each resident has their own bedroom and uses the communal kitchen and living rooms, as well as special room in the garden which they named ‘The Space Magic Room’ where we have ‘state of the art’ audio visual equipment and an adapted computer. This is also a place where residents get involved with other activities or use to socialise with friends and family when they visit.

The home has a beautiful large garden which has been adapted for wheelchair use – the patio at the back is much used during the summer months and many parties have been held there for various celebrations.
